JFIT
Building A Wellness Marketplace From Experience Design to Product Engineering
About the Client
JFIT is a holistic fitness and wellness platform that connects people with verified professionals across personal training, physiotherapy, psychology, and trained listening. The platform brings fitness, recovery, and mental wellbeing into one experience while giving experts the tools to establish credibility, manage their services, and grow their practice.

About the project
OVERVIEW
We worked with JFIT to build a connected wellness marketplace across iOS, Android, and web, with dedicated experiences for clients, experts, and administrators. The fitness and wellness platform supports the discovery and booking of verified wellness professionals, expert service management, subscriptions, payments, payouts, and administrative oversight.

Primary User GroupsBusiness Requirement
JFIT needed a wellness marketplace that could support clients, experts, and administrators within one platform. The product had to accommodate multiple expert categories, different service formats, country-specific payments and payouts, and administrative oversight while maintaining a connected user journey.
Key Requirements
Clients needed to discover verified experts, compare services, and manage bookings.
Experts needed category-specific onboarding, verification, availability management, subscriptions, and earnings management.
Administrators needed control over approvals, cancellations, disputes, refunds, and payouts.
The wellness platform needed to support different payment flows for expert subscriptions and client session bookings.
Build a Marketplace That Can Scale Across Users, Payments, and Markets
Solution
We built dedicated mobile and web experiences for clients, experts, and administrators on a shared architecture. The fitness and wellness platform supports expert discovery, booking, availability, subscriptions, payments, payouts, disputes, and administrative controls. RevenueCat handles expert subscriptions, while Stripe supports client service payments, and the admin experience gives JFIT control over users, experts, bookings, transactions, commissions, and payouts.

Challenges we Solved
JFIT needed to separate digital subscriptions from service bookings to meet store requirements, so we used RevenueCat IAP for subscriptions and Stripe for service payments. Supporting India and the UAE required country-specific financial rules, so we stored the applicable currency in pricing records and introduced an encrypted IBAN payout route for UAE experts. Concurrent booking attempts required centralized booking state, conflict checks, and the release of abandoned payment holds. Webhook retries required signature validation, queues, idempotency keys, unique constraints, and dead-letter handling. Expert availability also had to support multiple service modes, so we structured it around parent time windows with child service modes.

Our Approach
GeekyAnts followed a fixed-cost delivery model across design and development, structured through five phases with iterative reviews and milestone-based validation. The engagement began with alignment on JFIT's vision, operating model, user groups, and monetization strategy before moving through experience design, product engineering, quality and release, and market-specific refinements.
- We aligned with JFIT on its vision, user groups, workflows, and edge cases through stakeholder discussions, competitive review, and information architecture.

Results
JFIT has a development-ready ecosystem spanning mobile and admin experiences, with four expert categories across India and the UAE. The platform separates subscription and service payment flows, maintains auditable money movement, and uses a modular architecture that supports additional wellness categories without rebuilding the platform.
