The client aimed to develop a user-friendly app that allows facility managers and users to easily monitor the status of their storage units, ensuring safety and security. Key features such as motion detection alerts, scheduled image captures, and environmental monitoring were incorporated to provide a seamless experience for users managing their facilities.
We made this vision a reality by helping create a real-time monitoring solution that combines motion sensors, timed snapshots, and environmental tracking. The result is a highly efficient system that ensures storage units are secure and protected from environmental risks while offering smooth onboarding, easy software updates, and reliable alert services.

The client required a mobile-based solution to efficiently monitor storage units in real time, providing both physical and environmental security. The system needed to incorporate a network of sensors and cameras, offering a user-friendly experience for facility managers and end users.

SOLUTION
The solution we built included key features such as seamless camera onboarding, allowing users to easily set up multiple cameras for full coverage of their storage facility. It offered real-time motion detection alerts, capturing images and sending immediate notifications via email or push notifications. Users could also schedule regular image captures to monitor the status of their facility over time.
Additionally, the app tracked environmental factors like temperature and humidity for comprehensive facility monitoring and made it simple to manage firmware updates for cameras, ensuring they stayed up-to-date with the latest features and security improvements.
CHALLENGES
Managing a facility and ensuring secure storage can be highly challenging without real-time monitoring. The primary difficulties stem from the need for 24/7 surveillance, motion alerts, and control over environmental factors like temperature and humidity. Existing solutions were either too complex, lacked real-time updates, or didn’t offer an easy remote management system, making it difficult for facility managers to address issues quickly.
Managing a facility requires continuous monitoring, but without a system that can provide round-the-clock surveillance and real-time motion alerts, facility managers are left with gaps in security.

OUR APPROACH
We began by collaborating with the client to understand their need for real-time monitoring of storage units and outlined specific requirements like multi-camera support, motion detection alerts, and environmental monitoring.
We then moved to the product design and development phase. Our goal was to allow users to seamlessly set up multiple cameras, receive instant notifications for motion detection, and track temperature and humidity.
Rigorous testing ensured the system’s accuracy and ease of use, followed by a successful deployment and user training. After launch, we monitored performance, gathered feedback, and documented the client’s improved facility management and operational efficiency
