GeekyAnts @ NASSCOM Technology & Leadership Forum 2020, Mumbai.

The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai was bustling with people in suits, looking for their seats and meeting their peers for quick introductions and some catching up before settling down for the 28th NASSCOM Technology & Leadership Forum on the 13th & 14th of February, 2020.

This year’s theme of the summit was ‘Tech in the 20’s. Coming of age.’. The massive crowd gathering in the halls of the hospitality giant were counted to be over 1500 delegates from over 12 countries, ranging from managers, COOs & CTOs to directors, founders and celebrities. The star studded star cast included top level associates from Wipro, Tata Sons, Snapdeal, GitHub, TCS, Tech Mahindra and many other giants of the world.

Amongst the crowd were GeekyAnts’ own VP, Customer Experience Pramada Sahu, Senior BDE Stuti Kumari & CTO Atul Ranjan, representing our colony of innovators and letting the world know what we do. With over 150 speakers on the cards and many other formats of engagement, such as roundtables, interactions with start-ups, keynotes & panel discussions, amongst many others, the event was set to be a smash hit and ponder upon some important aspects of leadership and technology in the current era.

The main focus of the forum was strained on Digital Transformations. With discussions on topics such as ‘Automation to Autonomy’, ‘Tech clashes in the post-digital world’ and ‘Open source communities’, it was made clear that every sector and every vertical is slowly going through the digital transition paradigm, each in their own way.

But with such transformations comes challenges. Those challenges were also discussed and talked about in the summit itself. Moving to a digital infrastructure does pose problems towards security and other issues that were explored in depth. The two day summit also featured talks and discussions on the the open source side of tech communities and tips for start-ups to make it big.

All in all, NASSCOM has yet again delivered a quality forum and a strong platform for all business giants to share and speak about experiences and anticipations. There was a lot of information to take in and learn from, as well as new challenges to face and conquer. If nothing else, we did make some new friends. Next year isn’t far away and who knows what’s in store for us and the world. Only one way to find out.
