Prologue

In a world where there is a swarm of apps and ideas floating around everyday and a new establishment showing and knocking up at the door of our daily lives, the @mosphere app seems to have taken quite a leap into the future already, as ‘Atsigns’ who have currently downloaded the app are not only elated but are suggesting it to their peers, friends, and families too. With more than 3 decades of combined professional experience, Kevin, Colin and Barbara had set out to create, what conventional perception would call, a crazy idea. Colin and Kevin had been working on this idea for over a decade until they stumbled upon the right amount of zeal to bring life into this purpose and finally have a phenomenon in the company that they call the @magic. Quoting the outstanding team of professionals, they seemed to have found just the right people at just the right time.

@mosphere

In the wake of registering yourself as an @sign, one can have access to the @mosphere app and open their doors to a multitude of possibilities. With the @mosphere app, one can make peer-to-peer file transfer possible. In real-time, one can send files across any device regardless of their location — with the added benefit of total privacy. One can fearlessly share contacts, tax information, or other confidential information without worrying about their data being stored on a server in the cloud. The common question behind this idea would be about the system that makes this possible, and the answer reveals itself from the point when one registers themselves as an @sign. The @protocol is strict with their policies and prefers no horseplay as the @protocol defines your digital identity and it ensures that your data is 100% owned and controlled by you. At present, you can pair your @sign with any app on the @protocol to enable the app to access, and not store your data.

Technology

The technology that was used in building this useful yet mesmerizing app is Flutter. Even the backend was developed using Dart, leaving no stone unturned. The main reason why Flutter was used to build this app was to enable it to be accessed on any device, namely, mobile phones, tablets, and even desktops. Flutter is Google's portable UI toolkit for crafting beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. Flutter works with existing code, is used by developers and organizations around the world, and is open sourced. Also, since Flutter is Google's mobile app SDK, complete with a framework, widgets, and tools that give developers an easy way to build and deploy visually attractive, fast mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms. Flutter enables a smooth and easy cross-platform mobile app development making the app not only secure but easy to comprehend.
